To mark the International library week, Library committee of Khalsa College for Women organized a Bookmark Making Competition on 21st November 2022. This fun-filled activity unleashed their creativity on paper with a message to learn and follow.
Book Fair
To mark
the International library week, Library Committee of Khalsa College for Women,
Civil Lines, Ludhiana organised a two day Book Fair on November 16-17, 2022.
Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Mukti Gill inaugurated the fair. The books of the
distinguished writers and poets in English, Hindi and Punjabi language were
displayed by various publishers and sellers at the fair. It was a great opportunity of
having varied choice of books. The fair spreads the massage that
books are our best friends and companions that enlarge our vision and make our
life more meaningful.

To mark the World Poetry Day, Library Committee of Khalsa College For Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana organised a two day Book Fair on March 21-22, 2022.
Webinar on Open E-Resources
The Department of Library organized online webinar on Open E-Resources (under the aegis of IQAC) to create awareness about the open E-Resources amongst faculty members. Ms. Harpreet Kaur presided the event as a resource person. The event was attended by 74 faculty members.
KCW library has started a poetry club with the Name of Alfaaz. The main motto is to inculcate reading habits among all. On every Saturday of the month, a poem in English , Hindi and Punjabi language will be narrated on the platform.
